HSWrestling.Net uses a unique wording system to help you pick the proper wrestling technique for your arsenal. It is important to have a mixture of different types of technique with several different return levels. You will notice that the main focus of each risk level is whether or not the move leaves you out of position (and how long). Maintaining proper position should be your #1 focus.
Risk Level Management
Low Risk – A move that does not expose your back or leave you out of position at any time.
Medium Risk - A move that has a small chance of being countered or stopped, and may leave you out of position.
High Risk – A move that has a high likelihood of being countered, stopped, or exposing you to long periods of poor position.
Return Level Management
Low Return - A move that has little chance of scoring more than it’s core points (1 Escape, 2 Takedown, 2 Reversal)
Medium Return – A move that has a small chance of scoring it’s core points and resulting in back exposure.
High Return – A move that will return back exposure
*Each description is using the obvious expectation that the technique is being used correctly.
