2013 Freestyle Worlds Hungary Day 2 Results: Two Russian Golds

The second day of the 2013 World Championships were punctuated by Khadzhimurat Gatsalov’s (Russia) fifth world title win, this time at 120kg. His other four world titles were at 96kg, and his last was in 2009.

The Russians had another gold medal victory scored by new team wrestler Bekhan Goigereev (Russia) at the 60kg weight. Goigereev won his first five matches by technical fall, then pinned European silver medalist Vladimir Dubov (Bulgaria) in the finals.

The 74kg weight class was taken by Ibragim Aldatov (Ukraine), who had last won a world title in 2006 when he took the 74kg title in Guangzhou China.


Gold – Bekhan Goigereev (RUS) defeated Vladimir Dubov (BUL) - pin at 4:20.
Bronze – Barjang Barjang (IND) defeated Nyam-Ochir Enkhsaikhan (MGL) - TF 9-2
Bronze – Masoud Esmaeilpoorjouybari (IRI) defeated Artur Arakelyan (ARM) – TF 7-0


Gold – Ibragim Aldatov (UKR) defeated Reineris Salas Perez (CUB) - TF at 8-1.
Bronze – Istvan Vereb (HUN) defeated Murad Gaidarov (BLR) - 2-1
Bronze – Ehsan Lashgari (IRI) defeated Taimuraz Friev Naskidaeva (ESP) - 6-4


Gold – Khadzhimurat Gatsalov (RUS) defeated Alen Zaseev (UKR) - TF 7-0 (3:00)
Bronze – Geno Petriashvili (GEO) defeated Deng Zhiwei (CHN) - TF 10-3 (4:12)
Bronze – Taha Akgul (TUR) defeated Tervel Dlagnev (USA) - 3-0
