The 70th Wisconsin Individual Wrestling State Championship Tournament will be held this Thursday to Saturday, Feb. 21-23, at the Kohl Center on the University of Wisconsin campus. You can find brackets and information below as well as watch the state tournament live stream on foxsportswisconsin.com.
In division 1, Bay Port, Burlington and Kaukauna lead the pack with 8 wrestlers in the field. In division 2, Ellsworth and Sparta have 7. Random Lake has the most in Division 3 with 9. In the Wisconsin State Tournament this year, there are 19 former state champions and 17 who are looking to defend their title.
Tournament Schedule:
Thursday, February 21 (Session 1)
- Note: All sessions will be wrestled from 106 lb -285 lbs on next available mat
- 3 PM = Division 1 Preliminaries
- 5:15 PM = Div 1 Quarterfinals
- 7:15 PM = Div 2 & 3 Preliminaries
Friday, February 22 (Session 2)
- 10 AM = Div 1 Consolations
- 11:15 AM = Div 2 & 3 Quarterfinals
- 1:45 PM = Div 1 Consolation Semifinals
- 2:45 PM = Div 2 & 3 Consolation Semifinals
- 7 PM = Div 1, 2 & 3 Semifinals (Session 3)
Saturday, February 23 (Session 4)
- 11 AM = Div 1, 2 & 3 Consolation Wrestlebacks
- Div 1, 2 & 3 Fifth Place (After Consolation Matches)
- Div 1, 2 & 3 Third Place (After 3rd Place Matches)
- 6 PM = Div 1, 2 & 3 Championship Finals (Session 5)
