(No. 4) St. Edward clinched it’s 26th state wrestling championship early Saturday afternoon at the state tournament in Value City Arena. Heading into tonight’s championship matches, the Eagles lead Division I with 175 points.
The race for second place continues. (No. 18) Massillon Perry has 104 points and three wrestlers in the finals, and Wadsworth has 92 points with four finalists. A championship match victory is worth four points, with as many as two bonus points available up to a pin.
