Two pair of wrestling brothers, Jade Rauser (No.6 @ 125) and Val Rauser (No.9 @ 130), and Cole and Dylan Mendenhall, will be showcased today at the third annual Tournament of Champions wrestling tournament at the Old Gym at Great Falls High School.
The event, sponsored by the Hoyt and Blewett Law Firm of Great Falls, has 60 of the top high school grapplers in Classes AA, A and B-C, including a record 35 current and past state champions, to crown a true state champion in each of the 15 Montana high school weight classes.
Townsend’s nationally-ranked Rauser brothers, and three-time Class AA state champ Cole Mendenhall as well as his brother Dylan of Great Falls High will be featured. Jade Rauser (No. 6 @ 125), who finished an undefeated 174-0 career with his fourth Class BC state title, will be going against fellow 119-pounders Duell Stadel of Havre, past champion Bryce Weatherston of Belgrade, and Braden Hallock of Glasgow.
