Apple Valley, Minnesota is the No.1 High School Wrestling team in the nation heading into the 2010-2011 wrestling season. Our friend Scott Casber had a chance to sit down with the Eagle’s head wrestling coach, Jim Jackson, to discuss what makes Apple Valley the powerhouse program they are, the depth of the program, and how they plan to fill a hole in their line up at heavyweight.
Jackson, who took over the program for wrestling legend Bill Demaray in 1995, has twice been named National High School Coach of the Year and sports a 15 year record of 549-25-4 (94.98%)!
