The 2008 Lonestar Duals start today.
Fans at the Lone Star Duals have been treated to some tremendous wrestling by some of the top college wrestlers in the nation for the past 10 years. This year they will see a returning National Champion, Tervel Dlagnev, a Texas wrestler who began his wrestling career in his sophomore year at Arlington High School. They will also see Texas wrestlers competing for many of the 25 college teams attending this year.
Texas high school wrestling, for men and women, has developed tremendously in those 10 years. Other high school teams now travel to Texas for the experience of wrestling in one of the best tournaments in the nation.
On January 4th, the 11th annual Hilton Arlington/Cliff Keen Athletics Lone Star Duals kicks off. This edition promises to bring together the best athletes of Texas and the nation for two exciting days of wrestling action.
